Dutch children make Christmas floral arrangements  with Avalanche + roses

More than 250 children from elementary schools in Amersfoort have made Christmas floral arrangements especially for the elderly with Avalanche + roses. The objective is to bring a positive message to the elderly . The students were accompanied by florist Godelieve van den Hengel , and volunteers they made hundreds of Christmas arrangements . A delegation of children has handed the Christmas pieces to the elderly.  It is expected that the number of lonely elderly people in the Netherlands will increase significantly over the next  years. 

The Felini Foundation has organized this activity. The Foundation promotes communication between generations and is among others initiator of Grandparentsday.
